  • Evaluate Immune Function: Assess immune cell function using various techniques, including flow cytometry, MSD, ELISA, and qPCR.
  • Leukocyte Isolation: Perform leukocyte isolations to support cell-based assays.
  • Data Analysis: Independently design and analyze data for novel molecules evaluated in assays. Present data through written and oral communications.
  • Learning and Innovation: Demonstrate flexibility and motivation to learn new technologies in biological assays.

Basic Qualifications

  • Education: B.S. or M.S. in Immunology, Cell Biology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • At least 3 years of experience in biotechnology, the pharmaceutical industry, or an academic setting, with a focus on immunology.
    • At least 2 years of experience in designing and conducting spectral flow cytometry-based experiments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Assay Development Expertise: Strong background in developing in vitro and ex vivo assays, including work with human cell lines, PBMC, isolated primary blood cells, and whole blood assays.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in MSD, ELISA, DNA/RNA isolation, and qPCR.
    • Experience with single-cell technologies (e.g., CITE-seq, spatial transcriptomics).
    • Knowledge of Western blot, confocal microscopy, or CODEX.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to independently design experiments, interpret data, and draw conclusions.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative team player.
  • Motivation for Drug Discovery: Passionate about contributing to the development of innovative therapies for autoimmune diseases.

Additional Information

  • Compensation: The anticipated salary for this role ranges from $69,000 to $179,300, depending on education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
