Job Summary

Pfizer is seeking an experienced Area Medical Advisor to support scientific leadership, clinical engagement, and strategic KOL interactions across Telangana. This role is instrumental in advancing clinical knowledge, providing medical input for business strategies, and fostering partnerships with healthcare professionals and institutions. The role also involves supporting medical education programs, local clinical research, and regulatory and commercial teams to ensure ethical and evidence-based promotion of Pfizer's innovative portfolio.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and medical organizations.

  • Provide medical expertise to support ethical promotion and brand strategy execution.

  • Develop customized scientific presentations and ensure internal medical review prior to dissemination.

  • Support Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, advisory boards, and regional scientific events.

  • Collaborate with clinical operations to identify and support new clinical investigators.

  • Contribute to local clinical study activities including medical review, manuscript development, and publication planning.

  • Deliver timely and balanced medical information to internal stakeholders and external HCPs.

  • Facilitate training for the sales force and engage in cross-functional coordination to support product launches.

  • Represent Pfizer at scientific forums, round tables, and institutional presentations.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • MBBS, MD, or equivalent degree in life sciences or healthcare.

  • 3–6 years of experience in medical affairs, clinical development, or scientific liaison roles in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage KOLs and scientific audiences.

  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, regulatory, and clinical research teams.

  • Understanding of clinical guidelines, treatment landscapes, and regional disease epidemiology.

  • Experience in conducting or supporting local studies and managing scientific publications is preferred.

  • Ability to travel within the region for field-based engagements.
