Job Purpose

  • Provide high-level scientific and technical expertise for local medical information.

  • Engage with Key External Experts (KEEs) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

  • Contribute scientific insights to support regional business strategies.


Key Responsibilities

Scientific Engagement & HCP Interaction

  • Build credible networks with Health Care Practitioners (HCPs).

  • Conduct and support CMEs, symposia, trainings, workshops, scientific meetings, and speaker programs.

  • Deliver scientifically accurate, consistent “on-label” product presentations.

Medical & Scientific Support

  • Support Scientific Engagement (SE) activities in alignment with the medical plan.

  • Apply principles of SE and Promotional Code.

  • Become an expert in oncology brands within GSK’s portfolio.

  • Stay updated on oncology science and product information (PI).

Research Support

  • Conduct feasibility assessments for research sites.

  • Assist in creating concept notes, proposals, budgets, and monitoring tools for field studies.

Brand Strategy Support

  • Provide medical insights and scientific inputs into brand strategy development and execution.

Pharmacovigilance

  • Support Named Safety Contact (NSC).

  • Strengthen oncology pharmacovigilance practices and ensure ongoing learning.


Qualifications & Experience Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • Minimum: MBBS

  • Preferred: Postgraduate qualification in Pharmacology / Public Health
    Reason: Enables effective engagement with specialist HCPs.


Job-Related Experience

  • Excellent written & verbal communication (English + local language).

  • Experience presenting scientific content in various settings.

  • Understanding of ICH-GCP, ethical research standards, and SOPs.

  • Strong grasp of scientific methodology and experimental design.

  • 1–2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in oncology; hemato-oncology preferred.

  • Ability to give/receive constructive feedback.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with KOLs.
