Job Overview

The Account Supervisor is a key client-facing leadership role within a global healthcare communications environment. This position supports high-visibility pharmaceutical and life sciences accounts, balancing strategic account oversight, financial management, and team leadership while ensuring delivery excellence across digital and integrated marketing programs.

Working closely with creative, project management, and cross-functional partners, the Account Supervisor ensures projects are executed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with U.S. pharmaceutical marketing regulations. This role supports U.S.-based clients and requires availability during West Coast (PST) business hours.

Key Responsibilities

Account & Financial Management

  • Provide internal oversight of client budgets, including timely estimate submissions, revisions, and budget compliance.

  • Manage client demands while ensuring alignment with approved scopes and financial parameters.

  • Support financial control of assigned accounts, including utilization, profitability, and revenue tracking.

  • Partner with account billing teams to ensure accurate monthly invoicing and timely follow-up on accounts receivable.

  • Assist in preparing regular financial reports and reconciliations.

Client & Team Leadership

  • Serve as a reliable manager and mentor to direct reports throughout project development and execution.

  • Partner with Creative Services Managers and Creative Team Leads to guide teams through all phases of project development.

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality work that aligns with brand strategy, creative standards, regulatory requirements, timelines, and budgets.

  • Foster a cohesive, engaged, and informed team with strong understanding of client products, disease states, and market dynamics.

Project & Communication Oversight

  • Manage internal and external team communications related to project execution.

  • Lead development of clear, strategic creative briefs and oversee project workflows from initiation through delivery.

  • Support coordination across digital, promotional, and omnichannel initiatives.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, healthcare communications, or a related agency environment

  • Demonstrated experience managing client accounts within a regulated healthcare setting

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Industry & Functional Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. pharmaceutical regulations and promotional compliance requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Veeva PromoMats

  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical marketing, sales processes, disease states, therapeutic landscapes, and competitive environments

  • Experience across digital marketing channels, including social media platforms (TikTok, Meta, Reddit), websites and landing pages, CRM platforms, and digital sales materials

Core Skills

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Ability to write effective creative briefs and manage integrated marketing initiatives

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Work Requirements

  • Must be willing to work U.S. West Coast (PST) hours
