Job Summary

IQVIA is seeking an experienced Account Director to lead end-to-end strategy and execution for pharmaceutical sales training initiatives. Based in Montclair, NJ (Hybrid), this role is pivotal in enhancing salesforce performance across therapeutic brands through immersive training experiences, leadership development, and impactful content. Ideal for pharma training leaders with medical communications agency or client-side experience, this role delivers high-value HCP and sales enablement solutions aligned with brand goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary client liaison across assigned pharmaceutical brands or portfolios

  • Identify training gaps and align strategic deliverables with brand and behavioral objectives

  • Oversee National Sales Meetings, Launch Workshops, and on-demand training tools

  • Guide leadership development and coaching content for managers and field leaders

  • Manage project scopes, budgets, and team resources with profitability in focus

  • Lead cross-functional teams including writers, creatives, project managers, and trainers

  • Review and refine all client deliverables to ensure scientific and brand alignment

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture across functions


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field

  • 6–10+ years of experience in pharma sales training or HCP marketing (agency or client-side)

  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical sales landscape

  • Proven experience in strategic leadership and client engagement

  • Excellent project management and cross-functional team leadership

  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills

  • Budget oversight, scope planning, and stakeholder alignment expertise

  • Passion for behavior-change-driven salesforce training solutions
