Job Description:

Jubilant Radiopharma is seeking a dynamic Pharmacy Manager to join their team in Houston. The Pharmacy Manager will play a crucial role in managing pharmacy operations, ensuring safety, and overseeing the preparation and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals used for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Goal Setting: Develop and communicate goals for the pharmacy and team members, ensuring the pharmacy meets its performance objectives.

  • Financial Management: Administer the pharmacy budget, monitor expenses and revenues, report on variances, and assist with accounts payables and collections.

  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and radiation safety protocols. Conduct safety audits and ensure the pharmacy facility complies with applicable laws.

  • Radiopharmaceutical Handling: Oversee the compounding and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring doses are properly prepared, packed, and checked for contamination.

  • Emergency Preparedness: Stay ready to perform emergency dispensing and radiation safety procedures if needed.

  • Customer Relations: Work with the Business Unit Director to maintain customer relationships, develop service contracts, and address customer concerns.

  • Vendor Management: Negotiate with vendors to reduce costs and ensure product reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited college.

  • Certification: Board certification in nuclear pharmacy (BCNP) preferred.

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Nuclear Pharmacy.

  • Skills: Supervisory experience, customer relationship management, budget development, and problem-solving.

  • Attributes: Highly organized, excellent communication, time management, and a self-motivated, flexible, and creative mindset.
