About the Position:

Novo Nordisk Pharmatech (NNPR) is looking for a Health & Safety Partner to join their dedicated Health & Safety team. The position is designed for professionals passionate about creating a safe working environment through a systematic approach to health and safety management, particularly in complex project environments. The role will contribute to ensuring that projects are executed in a safe and sustainable manner, driving the company's ambition of zero injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Health & Safety Management: Lead activities such as risk assessments, health and safety management of changes, establishing permits, collaborating with authorities, and addressing construction and ergonomic requirements.

  • Project Collaboration: Work with various stakeholders to optimize health and safety processes throughout the project and ensure smooth handover to operations.

  • Compliance & Communication: Ensure alignment with NNPR’s sustainability strategy and safety targets, while raising health and safety issues across complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Workshops & Training: Attend workshops and meetings, proactively raising safety issues and fostering professional relationships within the project team.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Process Safety, Engineering, Health & Safety Science, Legislation, or a similar field.

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Danish and English, written and spoken.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in health and safety roles, ideally within pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical production or laboratory environments. Prior experience with construction projects is beneficial.

  • Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to simplify complex issues for diverse audiences, and a proactive, structured, and analytical approach to problem-solving.

You will be part of the Sustainability Partnering department, specifically the Health & Safety team. This team is focused on supporting the company’s projects, ensuring safety standards are met while working towards sustainability goals.
