Job Summary
Cognizant is hiring a Team Manager – Pharmacovigilance (TM-PV) to lead regulatory intelligence and drug safety initiatives in Mumbai. This hybrid, full-time role involves managing pharmacovigilance operations, ensuring global regulatory compliance, enhancing customer service, and driving continuous process improvements. Ideal for certified PV professionals with strong English communication skills and a proactive approach to safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and evaluate adverse drug reactions to uphold patient safety and product performance.
Collect, analyze, and interpret regulatory intelligence to ensure compliance.
Provide strategic guidance to improve pharmacovigilance and customer service outcomes.
Lead development and execution of risk management strategies.
Oversee timely preparation and submission of regulatory documentation.
Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline regulatory processes.
Support integration of regulatory intelligence into decision-making.
Utilize analytical tools to assess and enhance pharmacovigilance systems.
Research and contribute to new PV methodologies and systems.
Guide internal teams in maintaining high-quality compliance standards.
Stay updated on evolving industry and global regulatory trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/M.Pharm).
3–5 years' experience in pharmacovigilance, regulatory intelligence, or related functions.
Regulatory Affairs Certification or Certified Pharmacovigilance Professional preferred.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and PV compliance.
Exceptional communication skills in English (verbal & written).
Background in customer service within pharma safety operations.
Experience with R&D and regulatory affairs is a plus.
Ability to manage hybrid work with rotational shifts.
