Job Summary

Cognizant is hiring a Team Manager – Pharmacovigilance (TM-PV) to lead regulatory intelligence and drug safety initiatives in Mumbai. This hybrid, full-time role involves managing pharmacovigilance operations, ensuring global regulatory compliance, enhancing customer service, and driving continuous process improvements. Ideal for certified PV professionals with strong English communication skills and a proactive approach to safety and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate adverse drug reactions to uphold patient safety and product performance.

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret regulatory intelligence to ensure compliance.

  • Provide strategic guidance to improve pharmacovigilance and customer service outcomes.

  • Lead development and execution of risk management strategies.

  • Oversee timely preparation and submission of regulatory documentation.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline regulatory processes.

  • Support integration of regulatory intelligence into decision-making.

  • Utilize analytical tools to assess and enhance pharmacovigilance systems.

  • Research and contribute to new PV methodologies and systems.

  • Guide internal teams in maintaining high-quality compliance standards.

  • Stay updated on evolving industry and global regulatory trends.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/M.Pharm).

  • 3–5 years' experience in pharmacovigilance, regulatory intelligence, or related functions.

  • Regulatory Affairs Certification or Certified Pharmacovigilance Professional preferred.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and PV compliance.

  • Exceptional communication skills in English (verbal & written).

  • Background in customer service within pharma safety operations.

  • Experience with R&D and regulatory affairs is a plus.

  • Ability to manage hybrid work with rotational shifts.
