TM – Pharmacovigilance | Hybrid Role | India


Job Summary

Cognizant is hiring a TM – Pharmacovigilance to join its global pharmacovigilance team. This hybrid role is ideal for professionals skilled in regulatory intelligence, drug safety, and compliance monitoring. The candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of pharmaceutical products, supporting regulatory strategy, and contributing to patient safety initiatives. This position is shift-based with no travel and demands proficiency in English and pharmacovigilance practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze adverse drug reactions to ensure patient safety and compliance

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret regulatory intelligence

  • Provide expert input to improve pharmacovigilance and customer service operations

  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies

  • Ensure alignment with global regulatory standards and GVP guidelines

  • Oversee preparation and submission of regulatory documents and reports

  • Conduct research to improve pharmacovigilance methodologies

  • Facilitate stakeholder communication in regulatory affairs processes

  • Leverage analytical tools for PV system assessment and improvement

  • Lead R&D optimization efforts in drug safety

  • Integrate regulatory intelligence into strategic planning

  • Stay current on industry trends, compliance updates, and safety regulations


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/M.Pharm)

  • Certified Pharmacovigilance Professional / Regulatory Affairs Certification

  • Strong experience in customer service within the pharmacovigilance domain

  • Proficient in regulatory intelligence, drug safety, and compliance frameworks

  • Exposure to regulatory affairs and R&D (preferred but not mandatory)

  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Comfortable working in hybrid model with rotational shifts

  • Strong commitment to compliance, safety, and proactive problem-solving
