Position Overview:
IQVIA is seeking an experienced Therapeutic Strategy Lead (TSL) with deep expertise in global Respiratory clinical trials (Phases I–III) to drive early engagement and develop innovative, strategic responses to proposals. This role is central to expanding IQVIA’s footprint in the respiratory therapeutic area and will lead high-level strategy development in collaboration with business development, operations, and scientific teams.
You will design solutions that are both scientifically sound and operationally feasible, acting as a subject matter expert from pre-award to post-award, while strengthening client relationships and IQVIA's market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Client Engagement:
Own and drive early engagement strategy for client opportunities in the Respiratory domain
Lead cross-functional proposal teams and determine optimal clinical trial design
Represent IQVIA in client discussions, bid defenses, and RFP responses
Champion CORE-powered and innovative IQVIA solutions to meet client needs
Strategic Development & Solution Design:
Develop compelling operational and therapeutic strategies to win new business
Conduct data-driven assessments for protocol feasibility, patient recruitment, and risk management
Leverage internal expertise across therapeutic, scientific, operational, and data science functions
Ensure IQVIA’s proposal differentiates from competitors with strategic insights
Strategy Translation & Post-Award Support:
Ensure strategic continuity from proposal through project delivery
Provide post-award advisory and support to operational teams for in-flight studies
Contribute to continuous improvement of strategic frameworks and bid processes
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field (advanced degree preferred)
Minimum 10 years of global clinical research experience with focus on respiratory trials
Strong background in clinical operations and project management
Proven success in proposal development, bid defenses, and strategy creation
Deep understanding of GCP/ICH, regulatory and commercial environments in respiratory TA
Leadership ability in matrix environments and high-stakes client interactions
Technologically proficient (databases, CRM tools, internet research, MS Office)
Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills
