Salary:
$139,700.00 – $259,400.00 annually

Position Overview:
IQVIA is actively seeking a Therapeutic Strategy Lead (TSL) with significant expertise in obesity and endocrinology clinical trials (Phases I–III) to drive innovative strategies and early engagement across new business opportunities. You will lead the creation of comprehensive and compelling operational and therapeutic solutions in alignment with client needs and IQVIA's vision for expanding its market share in the obesity therapeutic area.

This role combines high-level client engagement, proposal leadership, and strategic development, ensuring IQVIA delivers cutting-edge solutions that differentiate its services and support successful project outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

Business Growth & Client Engagement:

  • Drive early-stage strategy development and client-centered solution design

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with medical, scientific, operational, and data teams

  • Represent IQVIA in high-stakes meetings, RFIs, and bid defenses

  • Champion IQVIA's CORE-powered and innovative approaches to clinical delivery

Strategic Development:

  • Lead the design of competitive, efficient, and feasible strategies for protocol execution

  • Analyze data to guide feasibility, site selection, patient recruitment, and risk mitigation

  • Tailor strategies that reflect market trends, patient population needs, and sponsor goals

  • Support proposal development and cross-functional presentation preparation

Post-Award Support & Strategy Execution:

  • Ensure continuity of strategic vision from proposal to execution

  • Provide ongoing advisory support to operational teams for in-flight studies

  • Translate bid-winning concepts into actionable delivery strategies


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field (advanced degree preferred)

  • Minimum 10 years of global clinical research experience with a strong focus on obesity and endocrinology

  • Hands-on experience with Phase I–III trial delivery

  • In-depth knowledge of the biopharma landscape, GCP/ICH guidelines, and clinical trial methodology

  • Strong leadership skills within matrixed, virtual teams

  • Effective communicator with ability to influence clients and stakeholders

  • Proficient with data platforms, industry research tools, and MS Office suite
