Role Overview:

The Sun Medical Dermatology Territory Manager is responsible for promoting Sun’s branded dermatology portfolio and driving business opportunities within targeted physician offices, key clinics, and institutions specializing in medical dermatology. The Territory Manager will be accountable for developing and executing territory business plans that contribute to achieving sales goals and objectives. This role involves collaboration with the HQ Commercial Team (e.g., Marketing) and field-based employees (e.g., Field Reimbursement Managers) to promote the company’s products effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:

    • Promote Sun’s dermatology products within the designated territory and achieve assigned sales targets.
    • Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive sales and product acceptance.
    • Collaborate with marketing, field reimbursement managers, and other key stakeholders to maximize product promotion and territory success.
  • Market Access & Product Promotion:

    • Effectively drive product acceptance and usage in key medical dermatology institutions and physician offices.
    • Manage promotional budgets and monitor sales data to ensure efficient territory management.
  • Customer Relationships:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions in the territory.
    • Utilize CRM tools and sales data to track customer interactions and report on progress.
  • Reporting & Compliance:

    • Submit timely sales reports and expense reports.
    • Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulations, maintaining a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions.
  • Performance & Metrics:

    • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
    • Continuously assess and adjust the strategy to meet evolving market conditions and competitive challenges.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
  • Experience:
    • Experience in pharmaceutical and/or medical device sales.
    • Strong communication skills and business acumen.
    • Proven ability to collaborate, innovate, adapt, and deliver results.
    • Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
    • 3+ years of experience in medical dermatology sales.
    • Experience in selling in a complex Market Access environment.
    • Experience promoting high-science products and involvement in product launches.
    • Experience working in a highly competitive market.

    • Achieve sales targets and business goals through effective territory management.

Interactions:

  • Interact with various internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels. Tact, diplomacy, and professionalism are essential for success in this role.
