ob Description – Territory Business Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Territory Business Manager to drive sales of pharmaceutical products within an assigned territory. The role involves market intelligence gathering, prescription audits, sales strategy implementation, customer relationship management, and accurate territory data maintenance to achieve defined sales targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Gather market trends and competition insights from stockists and chemists; report findings to SBM/RSM.

  • Conduct Retail Chemist Prescription Audit (RCPA) to identify high-prescribing doctors and support sales forecasting.

  • Stay updated with product knowledge and attend relevant training programs.

  • Implement sales and marketing plans as directed by the Product Manager.

  • Achieve sales targets through effective promotion, CME sessions, doctor meetings, and launch activities within allocated budgets.

  • Manage customer queries by coordinating with Infogini and providing timely responses to doctors.

  • Maintain regular interactions with doctors to track prescription trends and strengthen relationships.

  • Coordinate with chemists and stockists for smooth product availability and monitor new product sales.

  • Prepare and maintain doctor lists, route maps, retailer details, and territory databases.

  • Support CME events, ensure doctor participation, and build loyalty among key prescribers.

  • Submit sales, promotional, and reimbursement reports to SBM/RSM in a timely manner.


Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate in Science (mandatory).

  • Experience: 3–5 years in pharmaceutical sales.

  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and marketing strategies.

  • Understanding of pharma sales trends and analysis.

  • Ability to execute and evaluate sales & marketing activities.

  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.

  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.

  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
