Territory Manager, Medical Dermatology

Job Summary:
The Territory Manager, Medical Dermatology is responsible for promoting Sun’s branded dermatology portfolio and optimizing business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and institutions specializing in medical dermatology. The Territory Manager will develop and implement territory business plans to achieve sales goals and objectives. This role involves coordination with the HQ Commercial Team and field-based employees to effectively drive acceptance of promoted products.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:

    • Promote Sun’s branded dermatology products in key medical dermatology accounts.

    • Develop and implement effective territory business plans to achieve sales objectives.

    • Collaborate with field-based teams to drive product acceptance within the assigned geography.

  • Coordination and Integration:

    • Work with the HQ Commercial Team (Marketing, etc.) to optimize product promotion strategies.

    • Collaborate with field reimbursement managers and other employees to enhance product acceptance.

  • Sales Reporting and Budget Management:

    • Leverage CRM tools, sales data, and reports to track and optimize sales performance.

    • Manage promotional budgets within the territory.

    • Ensure timely call and expense reporting.

  • Professionalism and Scientific Presentation:

    • Present detailed scientific subject matter in a clear and understandable fashion.

    • Maintain a high level of professionalism while building trust with matrix teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Pharmaceutical and/or medical device sales experience.

  • Preferred:

    • 5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience.

    • 3+ years medical dermatology sales experience.

    • Experience in complex market access environments and product launches.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and business acumen.

  • Ability to collaborate, innovate, adapt, and deliver results.

  • Proficiency in selling high-science products and presenting scientific details clearly.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

License:

  • Valid driver’s license.
