Job Summary: We are seeking an Associate, Quality - Sampling and Analysis to join our team. The role involves conducting sampling and analysis of packaging and raw material samples while ensuring accuracy in documentation, compliance with safety procedures, and maintaining high laboratory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sampling and analysis of packaging and raw material samples as assigned by the Group Leader.
  • Perform SAP activities, prepare Record of Analysis (ROA), and review analytical records for adherence to specifications and Standard Testing Protocols (STP).
  • Ensure accurate documentation before submission for Group Leader review or online uploading.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring proper care and cleaning of instruments.
  • Follow safety precautions and procedures during analysis, adhering to Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and wearing appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
  • Report discrepancies or incidents promptly to the Group Leader.
  • Maintain the chemical and solvent store, prepare volumetric solutions and reagents, and manage catalog entries.
  • Handle out lab testing samples, manage sample destruction as per SOPs, and prepare Certificates of Analysis (COA).
  • Operate and calibrate Spraytec and Spray view instruments for droplet size distribution and spray pattern tests.
  • Perform analysis of Nasal spray products including SCU, Assay, and RS.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Work Experience: 2-7 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in the pharmaceutical or related industry.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in various analytical techniques and instrument operation, including sampling and analysis.
    • Knowledgeable in SAP activities for sample tracking and documentation.
    • Familiar with cGMP, SOPs, and STPs for accurate documentation and adherence to specifications.
    • Expertise in handling chemical and solvent stores and maintaining reagents.
    • Competence in lab safety, using JSA, and following safety protocols with PPE.
  • Behavioral Skills:

    • Attention to detail with accurate documentation and analysis.
    • Strong communication skills to report discrepancies and collaborate with the Group Leader.
    • Ability to take initiative in maintaining instruments, samples, and safety standards.
    • Problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and ensure smooth lab operations.
    • Strong ethical standards and compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
