    Job Summary: We are seeking a Calibration and Maintenance Specialist to join our Quality Control (QC) laboratory team. This role focuses on ensuring the calibration, maintenance, and performance verification of laboratory instruments and equipment, while adhering to safety, quality, and good laboratory practices.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to good laboratory practices (GLP) in the QC laboratory.
    • Perform daily calibration of instruments and equipment according to departmental and organizational guidelines.
    • Issue working standards based on user requirements and ensure proper calibration of analytical instruments.
    • Conduct performance verification and qualification of laboratory instruments and equipment as per master schedule.
    • Maintain laboratory analytical standards and manage sample deactivation procedures as per established protocols.
    • Follow good documentation practices (GDP) and ensure laboratory cleanliness.
    • Manage activities through Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), where applicable.
    • Participate in any other tasks assigned by management.

    Qualifications:

    • Educational Qualification: M.Sc. (any branch of science)
    • Work Experience: 6-10 years in a laboratory setting, with experience in calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

    Skills & Attributes:

    • Technical Skills:

      • Basic understanding of sterile industry processes, regulations, and trends.
      • Working knowledge of cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), with an emphasis on Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
      • Experience with LIMS systems, where applicable.

    • Behavioral Skills:

      • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
      • Performance-oriented mindset, striving for excellence.
      • Ability to work effectively within team dynamics and prioritize tasks.
      • Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changes in workload.
