Role: Calibration Specialist (QC Laboratory)

Objective:
To ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory instruments and equipment by performing routine calibrations, qualifications, and maintenance while adhering to safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Laboratory Practices and Safety:
- Uphold safety, quality standards, and good laboratory practices in the QC laboratory.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and ensure compliance with laid-down procedures.
Instrument Calibration and Qualification:
- Perform daily calibrations of laboratory instruments and equipment as per the master schedule.
- Conduct performance verification and qualification of instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Standard and Sample Management:
- Issue working standards based on user requirements.
- Maintain, deactivate, and document laboratory analytical standards and samples.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) in all laboratory activities.
- Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) where applicable for streamlined workflows.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Execute assignments provided by higher management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to cGMP standards.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

M.Sc. in any scientific branch.

Experience:

6–10 years of experience, preferably in sterile industries or related environments.

Skills and Attributes:

Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with sterile industry processes and regulations.
- Experience in cGMP environments with a strong emphasis on GDP.
Behavioral Skills:
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Performance-oriented mindset with flexibility in work schedules.
- Strong team dynamics and collaborative approach.
