Job Purpose

The Team Member – Pricing Management will be responsible for managing pricing for India Rx by ensuring robust documentation, regulatory compliance, and inventory management to maximize price realization. The role involves analyzing pricing strategies, addressing regulatory notifications, automating pricing data, and supporting financial provisions to optimize topline and bottom-line performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pricing Analytics & Strategy

Drive quarterly and annual price hikes in coordination with CFMs for topline optimization.
Provide insights on NPPA-governed pricing to support business decisions.
Align pricing strategy with therapy budget to achieve revenue targets.
Maintain Price Master with product details (MRP, margins, hike due dates).
Ensure timely MRP implementation on new stock.

2. Regulatory Compliance & NPPA Notifications

Address notifications and demand notices from NPPA with supporting documentation.
Prepare submissions for NPPA preliminary notices and data requests.
Proactively assess regulatory changes impacting new product launches.
Develop impact and mitigation plans for price-related government notifications.

3. Automation & Process Improvement

Lead automation projects for pricing data integration into a single platform.
Work with vendors to develop, test (UAT), validate, and implement automated reports.

4. Financial Provisions & MIS Reporting

Ensure timely provisions for MRP audit cases and risk-launched products.
Coordinate with the Legal team to anticipate future demands and make necessary financial provisions.

5. Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate pricing records.
Monitor and approve MRP updates at material and batch levels for P2P and LL products.
Ensure inventory is packed with the correct MRP as per defined guidelines.
Provide decision-making support to depots on MRP deviations.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance)

Experience:

4-8 years of experience in pricing, finance, or regulatory roles.
Experience in India Pharma Pricing is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and regulatory interpretation.
