Job Purpose

The Team Member – Plant will be responsible for implementing the Corporate Affairs agenda at the unit level, ensuring timely regulatory approvals, and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships. The role will support business continuity, compliance, and intelligence tracking for regulatory and policy developments affecting the plant location.


Key Responsibilities

1. Regulatory Approvals & Compliance

  • Ensure timely approvals from government and regulatory authorities.
  • Expedite approvals for new projects and licenses (e.g., EC, CTE/CTO, Fire NOC).
  • Support cross-functional teams in obtaining necessary regulatory permissions.

2. Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Strengthen relationships with state and local authorities, including:
    • Chief Minister’s Office
    • Industries Department
    • Health Department
    • FDA, CSDCO, Pollution Control Board, Police Administration, MIDC
  • Track government and bureaucratic reshuffles for updated stakeholder engagement.
  • Represent the plant location in government hearings, proposals, and briefings.

3. Business Continuity & Risk Mitigation

  • Support plant teams in handling critical incidents and IR issues.
  • Advocate and negotiate with external stakeholders to mitigate risks.

4. Site Management & Compliance Support

  • Assist Site HR, EHS, Admin, and Manufacturing teams in regulatory compliance.
  • Execute Corporate Affairs engagement strategies in coordination with central and site leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations (EC, CFO, CTE, Fire NOC).
  • Track state-level policy changes and align internal teams accordingly.
  • Support investment and divestment projects by obtaining necessary regulatory approvals.

5. Industry Engagement & Intelligence Tracking

  • Maintain active participation in state-level industry bodies and events.
  • Track government notifications, industry incentives, and policy updates.
  • Represent Cipla in key state-level events and discussions.

6. Cipla Foundation & CSR Initiatives

  • Support Cipla Foundation in executing CSR initiatives and engaging with government and community stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic advisory on external stakeholder requests related to CSR activities.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • MBA / B.Pharm / M.Pharm

Experience:
