Position: Manufacturing Supervisor - Sterile Injectable
Location: Dr. Reddy’s Manufacturing Facility

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Production Oversight:

    • Supervise the execution of day-to-day production activities in the Sterile Injectable lines (Tofflon & B&S) manufacturing and packaging.
  • Team Management:

    • Guide and coach employees, ensuring productivity, safety, and equipment maintenance are aligned with production goals.
  • Batch Execution:

    • Responsible for performing and reviewing batch execution, including Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Batch Production Records (BPR), and logbooks.
  • Product Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure product quality by adhering to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards and monitoring manufacturing processes.
  • Packaging Activities:

    • Oversee bottle packing, tube filling, and bulk packing activities.
  • Training Coordination:

    • Serve as the training coordinator through the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring employees are adequately trained.
  • Incident Management:

    • Perform initial investigations into incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Process Management:

    • Generate and manage the process order numbers for production activities.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification:

    • Diploma, B.Sc, B.Tech, or B.Pharm in a related field.
  • Experience:

    • 3 to 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, preferably in injectable manufacturing.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Technical Skills:

    • Knowledge of Pas X software.
    • In-depth knowledge of GMP and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
    • Experience in sterile injectable manufacturing.
  • Behavioral Skills:

    • Proactive in identifying and solving challenges in manufacturing processes.
    • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Efficient time management to meet production schedules and deadlines without compromising quality.
    • Strong communication and training skills for user departments and service providers.
