Job Responsibilities
The Regional Echo Liaison (REL) is responsible for identifying disease and product-related medical needs in a defined geography. Key responsibilities include:
Building Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with Thought Leaders (TL) and Healthcare Providers (HCP) within their healthcare system.
Scientific Exchange: Engage in meaningful scientific discussions to ensure patients have access to the manufacturer’s medicines and ensure their safe use through peer-to-peer interactions.
Medical Resource: Serve as the medical resource for external stakeholders in the community.
Essential Requirements
Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (including echocardiography).
Registry in cardiac ultrasound (RDCS or RCS) required.
Minimum of 5 years of adult echo experience, with HCM experience.
Ability to effectively translate scientific and clinical data for Echo & Sonography personnel.
Travel: Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time, including overnights and weekends. Must be able to drive and/or fly to meetings.
Desired Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
HCM disease area knowledge with an understanding of scientific publications.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Compensation
Annual Salary: $90,000 - $102,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Some positions may include a company car or car allowance, with eligibility for commissions/bonuses based on individual and company performance.
