Job Description:
As the SVP Business Development at PrimeVigilance, you will be at the forefront of driving our commercial strategy and business development efforts. Reporting to the President of PrimeVigilance, you will lead a dynamic global team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve ambitious growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Strategy Development: Create and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration, aligning with PrimeVigilance's vision and objectives.
  • Revenue Generation: Lead innovative sales and marketing initiatives, identifying new business opportunities across therapeutic areas, and expanding the client base globally.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in pharmaceutical companies, regulatory agencies, and industry organizations to enhance market presence.
  • Sales Operations: Optimize sales operations, developing processes that scale with commercial strategy and drive revenue.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities, influencing strategic decision-making.
  • Sales and Marketing: Oversee lead generation, pipeline management, and promotional activities in collaboration with the global marketing team.
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing commercial team, fostering collaboration and achieving business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and finance to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in all commercial activities.
  • Financial Management: Manage commercial reporting, budgets, forecasts, and key performance metrics to optimize profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in the pharmacovigilance or related pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries.
  • Proven track record in commercial strategy, driving revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Strong leadership experience, managing global sales teams and scaling operations.
  • Client Relationship Management skills with the ability to build and maintain strong partnerships.
  • Familiarity with pharmacovigilance software, services, and solutions, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to clients.
  • Global experience, understanding diverse market dynamics and managing international sales efforts.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting sales data and market trends.
