Job Summary:
This position is part of the offshore Data Innovations Support and Operations team supporting data and analytics capabilities for Cencora Global Pharma Services. The role focuses on ensuring data quality, accessibility, and report reliability across platforms such as Power BI. It demands a high level of technical troubleshooting and involvement throughout the data analytics lifecycle.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide front-line support for Power BI dashboards to ensure data accuracy, performance, and accessibility.
Monitor data orchestration jobs (overnight/weekend), identifying and troubleshooting failed pipelines.
Analyze and resolve issues with report visuals, datasets, KPIs, and data refresh failures.
Use SQL for anomaly investigation, root cause analysis, and report data validation.
Support scheduled data refreshes and resolve related failures.
Assist users with report access, navigation, and provide basic training for self-service usage.
Collaborate with developers and analysts to enhance or create new reports.
Maintain documentation on report logic, data flows, and business rules.
Support optimization of queries and data models in collaboration with data engineers.
Participate in QA testing of new or updated reports to ensure accuracy and performance.
Manage support tickets and communicate resolution status with stakeholders.
Identify and implement automation for recurring report processes.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
3 to 6 years of experience in data support, business intelligence, or analytics roles.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and Power BI Service.
Advanced SQL proficiency with ability to manage complex queries in environments such as SQL Server, Azure, and Snowflake.
Experience working with Azure Data Factory pipelines.
Knowledge of data governance and BI best practices.
Familiarity with other reporting tools like Tableau, QlikView, or SSRS is a plus.
Experience in job monitoring, troubleshooting, and documenting technical processes.
Experience with Databricks and PySpark is a plus.
Minimum Skills and Abilities:
Power BI development and administration skills including dataset and RLS handling.
Advanced SQL knowledge for data extraction and validation.
Understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and star/snowflake schema.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving discrepancies and performance issues.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Collaborative team player with independent work capabilities.
Passion for ensuring data integrity and delivering impactful insights.
