Job Description:
The Supply Chain Manager/Sr. Manager will oversee various Planning functions, including Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP), Forecasting, Production Planning, and Master Scheduling. This role will work closely with the Senior Director of Supply Chain CMO to ensure that all planning, execution, and control functions are efficient, effective, and meet the production needs of manufacturing and customers at the Jubilant HollisterStier facility in Spokane.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Line and Packaging Planners, including inventory analysis, resource allocation, production planning, KPIs, S&OP process, new item creation, and BOM updates.
  • Oversee the execution of weekly and monthly Planning activities, including TECO (Process Order closure), Expiration Report, and adherence to production planning schedules.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Supply Chain to execute annual budgeting activities.
  • Work with Procurement and Warehouse teams to implement integrated processes among Operations, Purchasing, Quality, and outside suppliers to execute planning and replenishment processes.
  • Identify and utilize systems tools (SAP and ERP) to implement advanced production and supply planning systems.
  • Establish and communicate key performance metrics and benchmarks related to Planning; measure and report performance against goals.
  • Ensure all Planning activities and processes are documented in written procedures and adhere to cGMP requirements.
  • Identify process gaps and ensure the integrity of system information.
  • Hire, train, and manage the performance of Planning team members, including conducting performance reviews and setting objectives.
  • Approve performance reviews and objectives for non-exempt employees.
  • Ensure the timely delivery and consistent high quality of products.
  • Complete annual expense and capital budgets as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field required.
    • APICS certification and a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management are preferred.
  • Experience:

    • 5 to 10 years of related experience required.
    • Experience in a regulated FDA industry is essential.
    • Supervisory experience is required.
    • Experience with Microsoft Suite, SAP, and ERP operating systems is required.
    • General knowledge of import/export traffic management is desired.
  • Other Requirements:

    • Minimal travel (<10%); some travel to supplier sites for external training may be required.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary:
    • $77,000 - $129,300 per year, depending on experience.
