Staff Nurse / Dialysis Nurse

Job Overview:
As a Staff Nurse / Dialysis Nurse, you will play a crucial role in dialysis treatment, patient management, and ensuring quality care. You will be responsible for monitoring patients, managing dialysis procedures, and coordinating with nephrologists and dialysis doctors to provide the best possible treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Dialysis Assessment:
Evaluate hemodynamic status, dialysis indication, vascular access, and comorbid illnesses before initiating treatment.
During Dialysis:
Monitor patients closely, ensuring adherence to dialysis prescriptions.
Maintain vascular access care, monitor flow adequacy and complications, and follow the nephrologist’s instructions.
Post-Dialysis Care:
Assess patient conditions, evaluate their response to treatment, and make necessary recommendations.
Ensure disinfection of dialysis machines and maintain hygiene standards.
Patient Care & Education:
Explain the dialysis process, disease management, and medications to patients.
Address patient concerns and provide emotional support.
Record-Keeping & Compliance:
Maintain and supervise dialyzer reprocessing.
Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of patient records for medical auditing.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
Work closely with dialysis doctors, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
Uphold a considerate and respectful approach towards patients and colleagues.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
B.Sc. Nursing, GNM, ANM, DGNM (Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery), Diploma in Health Assistance, or Diploma in Medical Nursing Assistance.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a dialysis or patient care setting.
Skills & Characteristics:
Positive attitude, strong teamwork, and excellent patient handling skills.
Ability to evaluate patient conditions and respond to emergencies effectively.
