Senior Statistical Programmer – Madhapur, Telangana, India
Job Summary:
Syneos Health is hiring an experienced Senior Statistical Programmer in Madhapur, India. This position plays a vital role in developing and maintaining statistical programs, supporting global clinical research studies, and ensuring accurate analysis datasets, tables, and figures. Ideal for professionals with expertise in SAS, R, or Python and strong experience in biostatistics and data management.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop programs to generate analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures (TLFs)
Provide end-to-end statistical programming support for clinical trials and regulatory submissions
Collaborate with statisticians, data managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality outputs
Source, structure, and interpret complex clinical data using validated statistical programming techniques
Evaluate and optimize existing programming processes to improve efficiency and productivity
Guide and mentor junior programmers, review code, and ensure adherence to CDISC standards
Manage projects independently while aligning with organizational goals and timelines
Stay updated on current industry tools, methods, and compliance requirements in clinical programming
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Biostatistics, or a related field
Strong programming experience in SAS, R, or Python
In-depth knowledge of CDISC SDTM and ADaM standards
Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on experience in clinical trial programming
Experience in regulatory submission and data visualization tools is a plus
Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple projects under strict timelines
Certifications Preferred:
SAS Certified Advanced Programmer or equivalent certification
Certification in biostatistics or clinical data analysis is advantageous
