Senior Statistical Programmer – Madhapur, Hyderabad
Job Summary:
Syneos Health is hiring a Senior Statistical Programmer in Madhapur, Hyderabad, to provide expert-level programming support in global clinical research. This role involves developing high-quality statistical deliverables including datasets, tables, listings, and figures, while ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrity. Key Responsibilities:
Develop, validate, and maintain programs for analysis datasets (ADaM), tables, and listings (TLFs)
Provide statistical programming support for clinical trials in alignment with regulatory guidelines
Source, organize, and interpret complex clinical datasets using SAS, R, or Python
Collaborate with statisticians and clinical teams to deliver accurate and timely statistical outputs
Improve programming processes and implement best practices for coding and automation
Supervise or mentor junior programmers, review code, and ensure standard compliance
Manage statistical programming projects and deliverables across multiple study phases
Stay up-to-date with advancements in statistical methods, programming tools, and GCP regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or Biostatistics
Minimum 4–6 years of statistical programming experience in clinical trials
Strong programming skills in SAS (mandatory); R or Python experience is a plus
Expertise in CDISC ADaM/SDTM standards
Familiarity with data visualization and validation tools
Ability to lead programming tasks independently and manage cross-functional communication
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Certifications Preferred:
SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9
Certification in statistical programming or data analysis is preferred
