Job Summary

This role supports the Analytical Development Laboratory (ADL) in both technical and operational activities including:

  • Physico-chemical analysis

  • Instrumental analysis

  • Material characterization for pharmaceutical injectable product development

The ideal candidate should be hands-on, technically sound, and passionate about contributing to impactful product development initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analytical Development:

    • Plan and execute analytical tasks and material characterization for pharmaceutical injectables.

    • Conduct experiments related to method development, failure analysis, and root cause analysis.

    • Interpret and analyze data from advanced and hyphenated analytical instrumentation techniques.

  • Compliance & Quality:

    • Execute work as per cGLP, GDP, cGMP, Data Integrity, ALCOA, and Baxter's internal systems.

    • Follow Baxter’s Quality Manual, SOPs, and EHS&S (Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability) guidelines.

  • Problem Solving:

    • Provide technical insights on physicochemical issues during development, scale-up, or post-marketing phases.

    • Engage in science-based troubleshooting.

  • Innovation & Improvement:

    • Suggest innovations for product and analytical method development.

    • Contribute to process improvement initiatives.

  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with cross-functional and international teams.

    • Prepare and deliver scientific reports, proposals, and presentations.

    • Support sample preparation and instrument operations as per project needs.

  • Equipment Support:

    • Assist in equipment calibration and maintenance in the lab.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong technical skills in instrumental and analytical techniques

  • Understanding of regulatory compliance (GLP, GMP, etc.)

  • Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams

  • Good communication and scientific documentation skills
