Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and lead junior medical writers, offering training and guidance

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and develop training content

  • Represent the Medical Writing department in client and internal meetings

  • Advise on data presentation and production strategy

  • Develop a variety of scientific materials including publications (manuscripts, abstracts, posters) and content (slide decks, etc.)

  • Conduct thorough literature reviews and interpret clinical data

  • Adhere to regulatory and client standards (e.g., ICH-E3, SOPs, templates)

  • Provide peer reviews for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with objectives

  • Collaborate across teams and manage writing activities for studies

  • Monitor project budgets and timelines

  • Engage in ongoing professional development

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or relevant Bachelor of Arts (e.g., English, Communications) with scientific/medical expertise

  • Strong command of English grammar and AMA style guide

  • In-depth understanding of FDA, ICH, and regulatory guidelines

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet-based research

  • Ability to present complex clinical data clearly and effectively

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in team-oriented environments

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary: $87,570 – $170,300 (US only; varies by qualifications and experience)

  • Potential for bonus or commission based on performance
