Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership for Clinical Operations staff including Directors

  • Oversee performance appraisals, mentoring, and development of clinical operations personnel

  • Ensure optimal staff resourcing and manage retention/turnover

  • Analyze quality and performance metrics, identifying and implementing improvement plans

  • Guide hiring activities and ensure competency in selection processes

  • Control financial performance, including utilization, gross profit, cost, and overhead

  • Ensure SOP/WI compliance and adherence to ICH/GCP and local/global regulations

  • Act as point of escalation for clinical operational issues and ensure sponsor expectations are met

  • Lead initiatives supporting BU and cross-functional strategic direction

  • Support business development, including bid defense and customer presentations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or related field

  • Extensive clinical research experience in CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech settings

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in operational and strategic roles

  • Expertise in GCP/ICH and applicable global regulatory guidelines

  • Strong budget and financial management skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn new systems

  • Strong time management, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Travel required up to 20%
