Role Overview

This role is part of Alcon's Sales & Sales Support function, focused on providing access to eye care products across channels and driving customer satisfaction with eye care professionals. As a Sr. Associate I in Surgical General Field Sales & Account Management (Professional Path), you will be responsible for achieving sales targets and driving growth within designated accounts, supporting the patient journey, and positioning Alcon’s brands effectively.


Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets within specific accounts.

  • Develop and implement sales/business plans for designated client base or sales programs.

  • Drive sales, promotion, and development in assigned accounts to meet commercial goals.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and requirements.

  • Expand relationships by proposing solutions aligned with customer objectives.

  • Develop customer development strategies and Account Management (KAM) action plans.

  • Lead the preparation of strategic and tactical plans, providing input for account analysis and key programs.

  • Prepare and negotiate contracts, guiding initiatives targeting specific accounts.

  • Analyze market situations, including competitive intelligence related to accounts and competitors.

  • Organize customer events and programs independently or with marketing/medical departments, aligned with business plans.

  • Contribute to stakeholder mapping, segmentation, and profiling; provide accurate data for the Alcon Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
