Role Summary:

As a Sr. Advisor in Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) & Pharmacometrics, you will be a scientific leader across the drug development lifecycle—from discovery through registration. You’ll apply model-informed drug development (MIDD) strategies to influence key decisions around dose, patient selection, and clinical trial design, ensuring that the right drug gets to the right patient at the right dose.


Key Responsibilities:

Scientific and Strategic Leadership

  • Lead PK/PD and pharmacometrics strategies for early and late-stage drug development programs.

  • Drive effective decision-making across clinical pharmacology, study design, and regulatory strategy.

  • Integrate quantitative approaches, including translational and exposure-response modeling.

Clinical and Regulatory

  • Contribute to protocol design and author clinical study plans for Phases I–III.

  • Lead data analysis, interpretation, and preparation of regulatory documents (INDs, CTDs, IBs).

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with cross-disciplinary teams (e.g., toxicology, discovery, regulatory).

  • Champion the use of MIDD principles within teams and to external stakeholders.

Thought Leadership

  • Publish and present scientific work; represent Lilly in industry consortia or scientific bodies.

  • Mentor and coach junior scientists and actively engage with academic institutions.


Basic Qualifications:

  • PhD and/or MD in a relevant field such as PK/PD, Pharmacometrics, Clinical Pharmacology, Engineering, or Computational Sciences.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in PK/PD, Pharmacometrics, or Clinical Pharmacology in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.


Preferred Skills and Attributes:

  • Deep knowledge of quantitative drug development strategies and regulatory frameworks.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence strategic direction of development programs.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership or health authorities.

  • Proven record of cross-functional collaboration and scientific publication.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Anticipated Salary: $142,500 – $228,800
