The ACP Specialty Representative role at AbbVie is a field-based position focused on promoting and selling AbbVie's proprietary products for the treatment of Central Precocious Puberty. This position primarily targets Pediatric Endocrinologists and other support staff across pediatric offices and hospital-based pediatric endocrinology departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales & Relationship Building:

    • Develop and maintain relationships with Pediatric Endocrinologists, nurses, and office procurement specialists.
    • Promote AbbVie’s product portfolio by delivering tailored clinical messaging, addressing customer needs, and coordinating internal resources.
    • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with targeted customer base.
  2. Market Intelligence & Expansion:

    • Stay informed on market trends, competitive products, and activities related to pediatric endocrinology.
    • Share market insights with internal teams to align on strategies and identify new business opportunities.
  3. Promotional Activities:

    • Execute promotional strategies, product trials, and educational events for healthcare staff.
    • Provide educational sessions on AbbVie products, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  4. Sales Expertise:

    • Maintain technical expertise on AbbVie and competitive products.
    • Demonstrate strong sales abilities, including persuasion, influence, and negotiation.
    • Leverage analytical skills and business acumen to meet sales targets.
  5. Operational Planning:

    • Construct effective routing and call plans to maximize territory coverage and sales opportunities.
    • Use Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) for efficient tracking and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Education: BS/BA degree (preferred in Business, Marketing, Science, Nursing, or Pharmacy).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3-5 years of successful field sales experience (pharmaceutical, medical, or related industries).
    • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
    • Endocrinology sales experience is highly preferred; secondary hospital-based specialty sales experience is a plus.
    • Prior experience in medical, biomedical, or nursing fields is desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
    • Ability to apply technical and scientific knowledge to the sales process.
    • Initiative-driven and execution-oriented.

Additional Information:

  • Travel: 50% of the time.
  • Salary: $78,500 - $192,500, dependent on location and experience.
