Job Summary:

The Affiliate Regulatory Affairs Manager/Senior Manager is responsible for managing the operational and technical aspects of regulatory affairs for the marketing affiliate. This includes executing regulatory plans, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and facilitating relationships with regulatory bodies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Plan Execution:

    • Implement regulatory plans in alignment with the affiliate business plan and regulatory requirements.

    • Ensure timely submission and approval of regulatory applications (new product registrations, line extensions, new indications).

    • Ensure compliance with regulations for marketing authorizations and post-approval activities (renewals, variations, periodic reports).

  • Regulatory Compliance:

    • Maintain up-to-date and accurate regulatory IT tools.

    • Ensure products comply with both local regulations and global quality system requirements.

    • Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulations.

  • Labelling:

    • Act as the Affiliate Labelling Responsible Person (ALRP), ensuring that product information complies with local regulations.

    • Manage the timely submission of updated product information and labels.

  • Process Improvement:

    • Participate in cross-functional teams to provide regulatory input.

    • Actively contribute to the implementation of launch readiness initiatives.

    • Foster relationships with key regulatory officials to influence decisions.

  • Training and Development:

    • Provide regulatory training to affiliate teams.

    • Stay current with evolving regulations and industry trends.

    • Attend external symposia, workshops, or conferences to enhance technical expertise.

  • Optional Responsibilities:

    • Assist in Pharmacovigilance and Product Quality initiatives.

    • Support regulatory tasks related to Product Complaints and Product Quality Standards.


Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific field.

  • Experience:

    • At least 1 year of experience in regulatory affairs, specifically dealing with external regulatory agencies and marketing needs.

  • Skills:

    • Strong team-working abilities with a focus on results.

    • Proficient computer/IT skills.

    • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

    • Analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
