Role Overview:
The Data Science Solutions Manager will lead a team to implement data science solutions and deliver business intelligence products. The role focuses on developing data products, analysis-ready datasets, dashboards, and insights to make data accessible and actionable for decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and retain a team of data analysts and visualization specialists.
Collaboration: Build relationships with stakeholders, ensuring data products align with their needs and business goals.
Data Solutions: Lead the development of high-quality data products, analysis-ready datasets, and user-centric designs.
User-Centric Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather user requirements and build intuitive products.
Stakeholder Review: Ensure accuracy of data products and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement.
Project Management: Handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
Industry Trends: Stay updated with the latest trends in data management and analysis techniques.
Qualifications:
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in data science, bioinformatics, or technology).
Experience: 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or relevant industry.
Domain Knowledge: Experience with pharmaceutical R&D, clinical development, and clinical trial data.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tableau and SQL, with a portfolio of data visualizations required for the interview.
Data Expertise: Strong understanding of data visualization principles, relational databases, and working with large, complex data sets.
Leadership: Proven experience in leading teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills, with attention to detail for accurate visualizations.
