Job Summary

Cognizant is seeking a Service Line Specialist – BPaaS Healthcare to strategically drive sales, client engagement, and portfolio growth within the healthcare services sector. This senior leadership role involves partnering with internal teams and clients to expand Cognizant’s BPaaS offerings, position innovative solutions, and deliver high-value healthcare outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the US healthcare industry, a strong track record of account growth, and the ability to engage C-level stakeholders while driving transformation initiatives across BPaaS healthcare markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in US Healthcare BPaaS, advising clients on solutions and digital transformation strategies.

  • Lead account growth by expanding services, securing new business, and managing complex client engagements.

  • Drive end-to-end sales pursuits, including RFP responses, negotiations, contracting, and client relationship management.

  • Champion digital-first solutions to optimize client outcomes and drive portfolio profitability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver bespoke healthcare solutions aligned with client needs.

  • Maintain strong CXO relationships, providing strategic consultation and advisory services.

  • Support business development initiatives, offering operational expertise to win new clients.

  • Lead and mentor teams in delivering solutions, ensuring compliance, quality, and operational excellence.

  • Monitor portfolio performance, revenue targets, and profitability while recommending strategic improvements.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 15+ years of proven experience in US Healthcare BPaaS, sales, account management, and relationship building.

  • Strong experience in solutioning, contract negotiation, and closing large deals.

  • Demonstrated expertise in client management, revenue growth, and transformation initiatives.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (required).

  • Ability to analyze market opportunities, develop account strategies, and achieve revenue targets.

  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, including team mentoring and operational management.

  • Strong financial acumen to manage budgets, forecast revenue, and ensure profitability.

  • Proficient in strategic planning, sales governance, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Established domain authority in US healthcare and BPaaS markets.

  • Proven ability to lead complex deals and deliver measurable business impact.

  • Strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
