Senior Statistical Programmer – Hyderabad (On-site)
Job Summary:
Syneos Health is hiring a Senior Statistical Programmer to join its global clinical development team in Hyderabad. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your advanced SAS, CDISC, and data analysis expertise in a leading pharmaceutical environment. Collaborate with top-tier clinical statisticians, contribute to regulatory submissions, and lead innovations in statistical programming supporting clinical trials worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain programs to generate analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory and statistical programming standards.
Provide programming support to statisticians and clinical teams.
Organize and interpret complex clinical data sets using advanced coding techniques.
Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements and deliver statistical outputs.
Review and improve existing programming processes to optimize productivity.
Guide and mentor junior programmers within the team.
Participate in the design and implementation of programming-related policies and tools.
Manage timelines and deliverables across multiple clinical programming projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in statistical programming in the clinical trial domain.
Strong command of SAS, and experience with R or Python is a plus.
Expertise in CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM) and familiarity with regulatory compliance.
Proficiency with data visualization tools and reporting techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Certifications (Preferred):
SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9
Certification in statistical programming or data analysis
