Job Overview:

As a Principal Biostatistician FSP, you will play a pivotal role in providing statistical expertise and leadership for clinical trials. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, based in Italy, and is part of Cytel’s global commitment to advancing treatment options.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead statistical support for clinical trials, ensuring high-quality statistical analysis.

  • Provide input to study design, statistical methodology, and data analysis plans.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with study goals and regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee and guide junior statisticians, providing mentorship and expertise.

  • Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines throughout the trial process.

  • Contribute to the preparation of regulatory submissions and reports.

  • Maintain expertise in statistical software and techniques, implementing best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).

  • Experience: Significant experience (at least 8 years) in biostatistics within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

  • Skills:

    • Strong expertise in statistical methodologies for clinical trials.

    • Experience with statistical software (e.g., SAS, R).

    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines.

    • Strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate across teams.

    • Experience in multiple therapeutic areas is advantageous.
