Job Overview
Lambda Therapeutic Research is seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist – Cell Line Development to join its CDMO division in Ahmedabad. This role focuses on mammalian cell line development for biosimilars and advanced biologics, supporting end-to-end process development activities in a regulated biopharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform cloning activities using multiple molecular biology technologies
Develop stable mammalian cell lines for biosimilars, including monoclonal antibodies, bispecifics, fusion proteins, and ADCs
Execute and optimize transient transfection processes at laboratory and pilot scales
Plan, design, and execute experiments with appropriate data analysis and interpretation
Support process development activities aligned with biopharmaceutical manufacturing standards
Manage external vendors for laboratory consumables and technical services
Oversee in-house laboratory inventory management and resource planning
Ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and timely reporting of experimental results
Required Experience
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in mammalian cell line development
Prior experience in biopharma, biotech, biosimilars, or contract research laboratories
Proven exposure to molecular biology techniques, cloning, and transfection workflows
Educational Qualifications
B.Tech / M.Sc / M.Tech in Biotechnology, Genetics, Microbiology, or a related life sciences discipline
