Key Responsibilities

As the Health & Safety Partner, you will:

  • Design Health & Safety (H&S) solutions to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.

  • Implement the H&S strategy, focusing on safety in construction, physical and mental well-being, and employee health promotion.

  • Ensure compliance with Danish safety legislation and perform risk assessments for tasks before, during, and after execution.

  • Monitor safety standards, report safety-related incidents, and suggest improvements to management.

  • Advise on and evaluate designs and constructions to ensure top safety standards.

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure an integrated safety approach across the organization.


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Relevant education in Health & Safety or a similar field.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Health & Safety coordination, ideally in a similar position.

  • Strong expertise in construction safety and experience in fostering safety cultures within large projects.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with good communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Fluency in both Danish and English.

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus, but not mandatory.


About the Department

Novo Nordisk is expanding its global manufacturing footprint in Tietgenbyen, Odense, to meet the growing demand for treatments in chronic diseases. This expansion offers a unique challenge and an opportunity to make a lasting impact. You will be part of the Fill & Finish Expansions - Site Tietgenbyen team, responsible for designing, planning, and building major fill & finish expansion projects.

Once the Odense facility is operational and has received final approvals, it will join Novo Nordisk’s global network of manufacturing plants that provide life-saving medications to millions of patients worldwide.
