Job Overview
Lambda Therapeutic Research Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Research Associate to support clinical operations and patient care activities at its Ahmedabad facility. The role involves assisting in clinical trial procedures, performing paramedical and nursing responsibilities, and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, experience in patient monitoring, and the ability to manage critical care responsibilities in a clinical research environment.
Key Responsibilities
Measure and monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and electrocardiogram (ECG) readings for clinical study participants.
Collect blood samples and manage phlebotomy procedures in accordance with clinical protocols.
Perform nursing duties during screening procedures and provide patient care across clinical units.
Organize and execute paramedical activities required for clinical trials.
Assist in dosing procedures, including medication preparation and administration as per study protocol.
Conduct and manage phlebotomy-related tasks with high accuracy and patient safety standards.
Support calibration and maintenance of medical instruments such as sphygmomanometers, thermometers, cardiac monitors, and ECG machines.
Serve as a clinical custodian by assisting patients with meals, bedding, and basic care requirements.
Manage ICU-related responsibilities and emergency procedures, including RT insertion and Foley catheterization when required.
Ensure proper segregation and disposal of biomedical waste in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards across clinical areas.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels for paramedical and phlebotomy-related supplies.
Educational Qualification
B.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Required Skills
Strong clinical and patient care management skills.
Hands-on experience in phlebotomy and vital sign monitoring.
Knowledge of ICU operations and emergency care procedures.
Understanding of biomedical waste management and clinical safety protocols.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a regulated clinical research environment.
