Therapy/Department: Gynae therapy (preferred), open to candidates from other therapies

Job Summary:

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing and promotional plans for products in the Gynae therapy area, ensuring the successful management of the portfolio. This role requires strategic business planning, coordination of marketing activities, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to optimize product performance and achieve business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Marketing Strategy Development:

    • Develop and execute marketing and promotional plans for Gynae products, ensuring alignment with consumer needs and market trends.
    • Translate the corporate brand strategy into localized plans, including logo design, visuals, and communication strategies, in collaboration with corporate headquarters.
  2. Business Performance Monitoring:

    • Regularly track and monitor the performance of the product portfolio, ensuring business goals are met.
    • Conduct market intelligence through primary research and customer engagement to assess opportunities and threats.
  3. Budget and Financial Management:

    • Share joint responsibility for budgets (advertising, promotions, conferences, symposia, sales materials, etc.), analyzing income and costs to ensure budget adherence.
    • Approve expenditure for local communication strategies and product-related activities.
  4. Collaboration and Advisory:

    • Collaborate with key prescribers, opinion leaders, and advisory groups (e.g., round tables, KOLs) to develop and execute strategic business and marketing plans.
    • Organize and lead advisory councils, presenting product information to medical professionals, formulary committees, and insurance companies.
  5. Internal and External Communication:

    • Collaborate with internal teams and external media to execute strategies effectively.
    • Ensure product training and presentations for field staff, empowering them with the necessary product knowledge and sales tools.
  6. Engagement with Healthcare Professionals:

    • Build relationships with healthcare professionals such as general practitioners, specialists, and pharmacists, as well as other decision-making units (DMUs).
    • Participate in national and international congresses, hospital visits, and KOL meetings to gather insights and promote the brand.
  7. Product Documentation and Content Creation:

    • Develop and manage content for sales brochures, product documentation, and website content to ensure clear, effective communication of product benefits.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification:
    • B. Pharma + MBA (Marketing or Pharma Management)
    • Alternatively, Pharma Management background is also acceptable.

Experience:

  • 6 to 8 years of product marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a preference for experience in Gynae therapy.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing budgets, and driving business performance.
  • Experience in working with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and managing interactions with healthcare professionals and decision-making units.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business goals.
  • Team collaboration skills with the ability to work across departments like medical affairs, sales, and corporate strategy.
  • Knowledge of Gynae therapy or the ability to quickly understand and implement strategies in this therapy area is preferred.

  • National and International Travel may be required for attending congresses, meeting KOLs, and engaging with healthcare professionals.
