The Role: Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL)

As a Senior MSL, you will be the scientific face of our client in Spain, specializing in rare diseases and oncology. You will establish strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and serve as a trusted expert in the field.

With an ongoing product launch for the first and only FDA-approved therapy for desmoid tumors, and a Marketing Authorization Application submitted in Europe (February 2024), this role is critical in shaping the success of groundbreaking treatments.

Key Responsibilities

KOL Engagement: Build and maintain expert relationships with leading oncologists, researchers, and healthcare providers.
Field Medical Strategy: Support and translate medical strategies into actionable KOL plans.
Medical Training & Support: Mentor new MSLs and provide scientific expertise at medical conferences and advisory boards.
Clinical Trial Support: Collaborate with clinical development teams to drive research initiatives.
Medical Affairs Expertise: Provide key insights to enhance product strategies and improve scientific communication.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
5-10 years of MSL experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Oncology experience required; rare disease experience preferred.
✔ Proven ability to present complex scientific data effectively.
✔ Proficiency in Veeva CRM, Adobe Professional, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Fluent in Spanish & English (spoken and written).
Highly collaborative with strong leadership and project management skills.
Based in Spain with the ability to travel up to 70%.
