Role Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Specialist / Stroke Rater fluent in Gujarati to support stroke-focused clinical trials. This role involves administering validated stroke assessment scales, reviewing assessments conducted by other raters, and ensuring protocol compliance and high-quality data. The position is remote, home-based, and offers flexible monthly hours.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer stroke-specific assessment scales, including EQ-5D-5L (interviewer and proxy versions) and mRS, to clinical trial participants.

  • Review and evaluate assessments conducted by other raters for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to protocol.

  • Conduct live rater interactions, providing feedback on scoring techniques and methodology.

  • Participate in training, orientation, and calibration sessions to maintain certification and inter-rater reliability.

  • Review case data and documentation in preparation for rater discussions.

  • Complete scheduled rater interactions and submit all documentation promptly.

  • Assist in mock interviews and functional assessments to evaluate rater performance.


Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum: Master’s degree (MA/MS) in Medicine, Neurology, Psychology, or related field.

  • Preferred: MD, DO, or PhD.

Experience:

  • At least 1 year of clinical experience with stroke patients.

  • Prior experience administering stroke-related rating scales in clinical trials.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in EQ-5D-5L and mRS administration.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for professional interaction with raters and trial staff.

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.

  • Fluent in Gujarati.
