Senior Medical Research Associate – Lenexa, KS (On-site)
Job Summary:
ICON plc, a global leader in clinical research and healthcare intelligence, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Medical Research Associate for an on-site role in Lenexa, KS. In this role, you will support clinical trials by performing vitals, phlebotomy, and ensuring the well-being of study participants while strictly following protocol. Ideal for licensed paramedics or those with clinical research or healthcare experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and screen clinical research volunteers as they arrive.
Measure and document height, weight, BMI, and vital signs.
Perform phlebotomy as required per study protocol.
Chaperone study participants during their breaks or off-clinic activities.
Adhere to clinical protocols and maintain participant comfort and safety.
Attend and contribute to team meetings and assignments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical or clinical field.
Active paramedic license required.
High school diploma or GED; degree in clinical or health-related field preferred.
Certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) or Phlebotomist Certification are highly desirable.
Fluent in English (and the host country language, if applicable).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
