The Global Medical Information (GMI) team supports global and local medical information activities by providing scientifically accurate, fair-balanced, and evidence-based responses for healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
🎯 Job Purpose
To research, write, and manage scientific response documents supporting global and local medical information needs. The role involves creating and adapting high-quality content for healthcare professionals and regulatory submissions while ensuring scientific integrity and compliance.
⚙️ Key Responsibilities
🧾 Core Responsibilities
Research and author evidence-based, accurate, and current scientific response documents.
Conduct literature searches, extract and summarize complex data from scientific sources.
Develop and maintain global and local medical information materials (response documents, US NDA annual reports, compendia reviews, etc.).
Adapt and customize global scientific content for local markets.
Ensure all deliverables comply with internal and regulatory standards.
Participate in cross-functional projects and ensure deliverables meet deadlines and quality expectations.
Peer-review content created by other writers.
👥 People
Build effective relationships with medical and scientific stakeholders.
Collaborate with medical and pharmacovigilance teams to meet content needs.
Mentor or guide junior medical writers and contribute to team learning.
📈 Performance
Deliver high-quality medical information materials within agreed timelines.
Maintain therapeutic area expertise and stay updated on emerging literature.

Conduct medical writing needs analysis for assigned countries or regions.

🎓 Experience
5+ years of experience in medical writing in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
2–3 years of direct experience in medical information writing within a pharma company.
🧠 Technical Skills
Strong expertise in medical/scientific editing and writing.
Knowledge of literature evaluation, response document development, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent project, time, and risk management skills.
Familiarity with medical operational excellence and documentation systems.
💬 Soft Skills
Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.
