Job Description
The Senior Medical Information Associate will play a key role in supporting the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical products by delivering accurate, evidence-based, and non-promotional medical information in response to unsolicited inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and payers. In addition, this role will involve managing the post-marketing handling of adverse events and product complaints. The Senior Medical Information Associate will be a member of the Medical Information Contact Center (MICC) team, delivering industry-leading services, including global inbox management, case processing, and medical communications operations, while ensuring the success of client programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage global inbox and handle case processing for adverse event reports, product quality complaint reports, and medical inquiries.
  • Data entry and triaging of medical inquiries and safety reports from healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Identify and report adverse events and product complaints as part of data entry for medical inquiries.
  • Write and file reports on adverse events and product complaints in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support processes for responding to quality-related complaints in coordination with client managers.
  • Oversee medical communications operations and drug safety activities as directed by management.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior staff, ensuring their continuous development.
  • Monitor work processes for global inbox activities and ensure compliance with client performance requirements.
  • Perform quality monitoring and peer reviews for the global inbox team.
  • Foster an environment of inclusion, equity, and diversity while proactively managing bias.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Pharm.D, Master of Science (MSc), B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or a related Life Sciences degree.
  • Experience: Strong documentation, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.
  • Previous experience in medical information, regulatory affairs, or a related area is highly preferred.

Additional Information
EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated salary range for this role is between $83,000 and $112,000, based on relevant experience and location.
