    Job Description

    Medical Expertise & Knowledge Development

    • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned products and therapeutic areas through internal training, self-study, and participation in key congresses/seminars.
    • Provide expert medical and scientific advice on assigned products, ensuring medical accuracy in core dossiers, including medical information packs and clinical expert reviews.

    Stakeholder Engagement & Scientific Communication

    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and academic centers.
    • Participate in scientific congresses, advisory boards, round-table discussions, and scientific forums.
    • Deliver scientific presentations and medical education programs to healthcare professionals.
    • Screen and analyze scientific literature and conference proceedings, summarizing key findings for internal teams.
    • Train sales forces and internal departments and develop relevant training materials.

    Clinical Research Activities

    • Design and implement clinical research projects (e.g., Phase IV studies, post-marketing clinical activities, epidemiological surveys).
    • Provide oversight for IIS (Investigator-Initiated Studies), ensuring compliance with review and approval processes.
    • Support the Clinical Research Department in study management, including protocol review, investigator identification, and feasibility surveys.

    Regulatory & Compliance Oversight

    • Review and approve promotional materials, ensuring scientific accuracy and compliance with Abbott’s policies.
    • Contribute to marketing strategies and key commercial initiatives with medical/scientific insights.
    • Monitor and report competitive intelligence, including product strategies, clinical studies, and market positioning.
    • Ensure compliance with national laws, industry guidelines, and Abbott’s internal policies.
