Job Overview

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a Senior Executive – Production to support and execute day-to-day manufacturing operations within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. The role focuses on ensuring strict compliance with quality standards, regulatory guidelines, and internal SOPs, while contributing to operational efficiency, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This position is well-suited for professionals with hands-on production experience, strong operational discipline, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setup.


Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations

  • Execute production operations independently, including equipment setup and routine manufacturing activities.

  • Verify availability and suitability of raw materials, clean apparatus, and production equipment prior to execution.

  • Perform line clearance, labeling, and documentation activities, including BMR, BECR, and work order sign-offs.

  • Conduct in-process sampling, final material sampling, packing, and related production activities.

Equipment, Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Perform and verify equipment and area cleaning activities as per approved SOPs.

  • Carry out verification and calibration checks for instruments and equipment.

  • Inform senior chemist/officer regarding preventive maintenance requirements, breakdowns, or abnormal observations.

Quality, Compliance & Safety

  • Strictly read, review, and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure GMP, safety, and data integrity compliance during all production activities.

  • Demonstrate strong safety awareness and immediately escalate any deviations or incidents.

Team Support

  • Act as a deputy in the absence of assigned personnel and ensure uninterrupted production activities.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production timelines and quality expectations.


Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline is required.

  • Knowledge of peptide synthesis principles is an added advantage.


Experience Requirements

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or API production within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.

  • Hands-on exposure to shop-floor operations, documentation practices, and equipment handling is desirable.
