Job Overview
Sanofi is seeking an experienced Senior Content Writer to join its Learning Design & Development function within Sanofi Business Operations (SBO) in Hyderabad. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in scientific writing, pharmaceutical content development, and instructional design, who are passionate about transforming complex scientific information into engaging, learner-focused content.
As a Senior Content Writer, you will lead and contribute to the creation of high-quality learning materials supporting global Medical, HEVA, Commercial, and R&D teams across Sanofi’s Specialty Care, Vaccines, and General Medicines portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
Content Development & Learning Design
Lead the creation of scientifically accurate, engaging learning content for diverse global audiences
Develop and review eLearning modules, instructor-led presentations, assessments, workshops, and digital learning assets
Translate complex scientific and medical data into clear, learner-friendly educational content
Apply instructional design principles to structure content for effective learning outcomes
Collaboration & People Leadership
Collaborate with subject matter experts, cross-functional teams, and global stakeholders
Mentor and guide junior content writers, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to standards
Share best practices, ideas, and feedback to continuously improve content development processes
Process & Innovation
Manage content development projects from concept through final delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
Continuously refine content based on stakeholder feedback and learner performance data
Explore emerging digital learning tools, platforms, and trends to enhance content delivery and learner engagement
Recommend improvements to content formats, delivery methods, and learning strategies
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with internal stakeholders to align learning content with therapeutic, scientific, and business objectives
Customize content for different therapeutic areas, learner personas, and global markets
Experience & Qualifications
Experience:
6–7 years of experience in scientific content writing, medical communication, learning content development, or instructional design
Experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences industry, or academic research environments
Education:
Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, Pharma Marketing, or a related discipline
Medical degree or equivalent qualification is an added advantage
Technical & Professional Skills:
Strong foundation in scientific and medical content development
Ability to interpret and simplify complex scientific data for educational use
Working knowledge of instructional design principles
Exposure to Learning Management Systems (LMS) and content authoring tools is desirable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Soft Skills:
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple content streams
